Bossaball... What ball again?

Bossaball combines elements of different sports like soccer, volleyball and gymnastics on a pitch of trampolines and bouncy inflatables. Cool right?
The game can be set up on diverse locations :
hotels, amusement parks, sports clubs, beach clubs, music festivals, fairs, summer camps, camping grounds, sales promotions, entertainment industry events, ski resorts, shopping centers, water parks, schools, discotheques...
As a spectacular attraction, bossaball draws the crowds wherever it goes.
Bossaball can be played in teams of 3 or 4 or 5 players.
The aim of bossaball is for each team to ground the ball on the opponent's field.
Each team is entitled to a maximum of 8 contacts with the ball on its own field, meanwhile the trampoline jumper gains height to prepare a (spectacular) smash.
Any body part can be used. Players can touch the ball only once with their hands, or double touch it with their feet and/or head.
Once a team grounds the ball on the inflatables it gains 1 point.
Scoring on the trampolines is worth 3 points.
Hitting the bossawall (the rings around the trampolines) doesn´t count as a score, so the rally continues.
Bossaball now plays in the country like Brazil, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands and recently in Singapore.
For Singaporean or people staying in Singapore, there are some try-outs sections during these months: Nov - Dec 2007. Please log on here to find out more:

Happy Deepavali
Hooray! It is a public holiday! Not really for my case. As a hotelier, it is business as usual. But some of my Indian's colleagues are taking some time off during this meaningful celebrations.
Deepavali or Diwali, the festival of "rows of lights" or "festival of lights" (Deep means Lamp, Vali means Array), is one of the most important of all Hindu festivals. It is also a significant festival for the Sikh and Jain faiths. Of all the festivals celebrated in India, Deepavali is by far the most glamorous and important. Enthusiastically enjoyed by people of every religion.
Deepavali is very enthusiastically celebrated for five continuous days and each day has its significance with a number of myths, legends and beliefs.
The First Day or Dhanteras
Dhanteras marks the beginning of Diwali celebrations. This day has a great importance for the rich mercantile community of western India. Houses and business premises are renovated and decorated.
The Second Day or Choti Diwali
The second day of Diwali is called Narak Chaturdasi or Choti Diwali. . On this day Lord Krishna destroyed the demon Narakasur and made the world free from fear.
The Third day or Main Diwali
This is the day when worship of Mother Lakshmi is performed. Hindus believe that Goddess Lakshmi will bring the blessings of wealth and prosperity, the triumph of good over evil and light over darkness.
The Fourth Day or Padwa
Govardhana Puja is also performed in this day.
The Fifth day or Bhai Duj
The fifth day of the diwali is called Bhai Duj. On this day sisters perform puja for their brothers safety and well-being. Brothers in return give Bhai Dooj Gifts to their sisters as a token of love.
Push!!! Darling... Push!!!
I received a call from my wife at around 7am 0n 22nd November 2000 and she told me over the phone, "Honey I think it's time now!" With indescribable excitement I told her, "Dear, hang on there, I'll be right back!" So I rush to the airport and jump into the next flight that is available back to my town. After 5 hours journey, I finally reached the hospital and straight away I rushed into the delivery room. Yes, my wife is expecting and it is 2 weeks early on the expected due date. Inside the room, I saw my wife... in a... I would said an awkward position. Ok, this was due to I never attend any childbirth class before. I have a 30 seconds long last minute lesson from the doctor that she said will be helpful to my wife. I hold my wife hand and told her that I will be on her side just before I can finish my supposingly touching speech, she had a contractions...
"Do it now!", the doctor give her orders to me. I shouted, loudly with much enthusiasm, "PUSH!!! DARLING.... PUSH!!! The next thing I heard.... or shouting back at me to be more precise, "WHoa!!! You're killing my ear! said the doctor. "Opps! Sorry Doc!" I apologised to her. My wife laughed but not the doctor. She was not really please and asked us to be more serious.
After a much 1 hour marathon chanting the words "push, darling, push", my first child, Dominic finally arrived to this world. There is no such word in this world can actually describe how happy I am in that moment.
To all parents to be I have wrote a few tips before the actual big day:
1) For god sake, attend the childbirth lessons.
2) Relax your wife by few methods: stroke her hair, talking and deep breathing. Relaxation is one of the most helpful techniques for pain relief.
3) Never..., ever shout in a delivery room.
